Went to MidNite Madness on 6-2-07. Temp 80* & Hum 79%.
Estimate 100 cars. About 10% were RWD, C-6, GTO, Camaro, Mustang & Charger.
I was amazed at the number of people both old and new school that took an interest in the Marauder. A lot of compliments.
The racing was a slaughter. 5.0 Mustang 15.849 to 12.800, the vaunted Acura R 14.49 to 13.321 ( I spun ), Eclipse w/ Lambo Doors 16.049 to 12.80 and RSX-S 15.778 to 12.861.
Looks like sub 12.5 are over until the fall.
My R/T were .729 / .303 / .360 / .788. It was one amber then green.
I tried to line up againest some RWD, but it starts at 9:00pm. at 10:45pm I was ready to pack up and leave.
The Marauder continues to Maul.:)

Looking at those times...I would have have a good night even though I was running low 14's when I know I can run high 13's. I my have to check out Budds the next time.

I was running the MT ET. I like the tire.
They are easy to launch. They have only spun out once and that was operator error.
Being biasply they will follow any sway in the track, while the radials in the front do not. Don't over correct and you will be fine.
I have been running high pressures 25 psi which prob helps stabilize them.
In the Marauder I have always had good sucess with lifting both feet as soon as things start to go wrong. In most cases the car will straighten it'self out with a little steering input.

Put some tubes in those tires. Sherman is now running tubes.

Ironically I run the ET's at 18 psi and the fronts up to 50 psi. The wobble is there, but easily controlled.
And besides...the wrinkle is mas cool.

I wasn't aware of this solution. Does it work well???

I am still experimenting. I start w/ 25psi and go down from there. Temp/Hum and how sticky the track is.
Cool Dry Air and I will start w/ 22psi.

Tubes and screws solved better than 50% percent of my vibration problems.
