The 2003 Model was at best, mediocre. the next year, they got it right. The 2004 Marauder was perfect. Mercury took a Grand Marque & put a 325HP, 318ft lbs torque engine, added tuned suspension & almost every option available.

i am offended... to say that the 03 was mediocre is completely wrong. to my knowledge there was no significant difference between the two years. my 300a is darn close to his, sorry i dont have traction control turn off and map pockets(which i dislike), but honestly he needs to get his ego down to about 302hp. oh btw i also have a k&n full intake and flowmasters

Of course, we all know he won't join because he's too much of a know it all, and know matter what we tell him, he think's he'll be right when he just looks like an ass. I gotta ask though, I must be doing something wrong when I've spent over $1,000 to mod my Marauder, and I'm probably only getting 260-280 to my rear wheels, and he has two mods that got him into the 300's. :lol: That 2003 comment irritated the hell out me since that's not the case at all. It's ok though, he probably got over charged for his '04 when the dealer told him, "The '04's were bullet proof and a lot better than the '03's." I'm sure they saw him coming from a mile away.

I've see two or three advertised in Southeastern Pennsylvania in the past month and the going rate is $ 19,000 to $ 20,000 but they have half or less mileage. I have 67K on mine and can't tell you what its worth since no way in h e double hockey sticks would I sell the best car I've ever owned. The car is advertised as black with the light grey interior which is what I have. I read many times only 147 of these built with this color combination so maybe that ups the price a bit. Also, mine has 6 CD changer and sunroof and heated seats and I understand there are less than 100 of these ever bulit with the black and grey color combination.

The MARAUDER was a Limited Edition, new, Muscle Car for the people who grew up with them. It was only produced in 2003 and 2004. The 2003 Model was at best, mediocre. the next year, they got it right. The 2004 Marauder was perfect. Mercury took a Grand Marque & put a 325HP, 318ft lbs torque engine, added tuned suspension & almost every option available. Thats it. If you look at the Marauders for sale, 90% of them are the 2003 model.
People seem to hold onto the 2004 model. I don't want to sell mine, I have to.... I need a truck

Overpriced, maybe..but actually in time an excellent condition 04 Marauder will easily get that. Hell, you cannot buy any decent performace vehicle today for less than $30K. A four door performance car, look at a CTS V $54k. I was pricing some loaded 1/2 ton pickups. Nothing less than $40K. SUV's $40-50K plus. Prices on decent cars are going out of site unless you are happy with a Kia,or Hundai:eek:

If, I repeat if I sold my 04 Silver Marauder, I would not take anything less than $45k. I know that sounds ridiculous, but I have $70K in the car with everything I have done. A new Z06 Corvette, $75K and my car can beat one in the 1/4mile with room and comfort for four. SO, it is a matter of finding the right person for the right car. And by the way, my car is NOT for sale....

I wasn't bashing him at all, but trying to help him out by showing him this site where he would have the right information. But, when he was getting a little testy with him, I gave it back. The reason why I'm sure he changed it was because he probably came here as a guest, saw this thread, and knew that we were right. Unfortunately, he still hasn't fixed the HP numbers though.. What a surprise too, no bids.
