All Note,
Since I put the Dennis Reinhart R on the
back end, I really get more looks and lots more questions. Everyone wants to know what the R means. :D

I wonder if Dennis would make a different emblem for me.
I don't want a "Type - R", I want a "Type Friggen - A".

Sorry... but that's the last letter I'd have on the back end of my car.
O.K. flame away if you like...but, I don't understand the adversion to the letter "R".
Isn't the new, sporty Jaguar (owned by Ford) an "R"?

No, no flaming, I just think "Type R" is overused. Any rice-boy can go out and get a "Type R" sticker and make believe they have 10 extra HP.
I like my MM because it's different. Putting a "Type R" sticker or emblem on it makes it 'common' perhaps. Having just the "R" is too close for me. A sticker such as 'Power by Dennis Rienhardt" or 'Reinhardt Power' would be pretty good, or if Dennis had a more distinctive "R" to make it stand out more...that would be OK as well.
I'm a soon to be 2%er (converted) and am proud of it. "Type R" just doesn't float my boat. Just my $.0123 CAD ($.02USD).
My good Dr. You make a reasonable point. I just am not familiar wih the whole "ricer-R" thing. Personally, I like the designs on the other thread...and would be willing to promote Dennis in that fashion. It's because of him and some of the folks here (you know who you are) that I have the car that I enjoy.
So...with that being said...Yo, Dennis...what's your take on this? We talked about this on Saturday...

I like those as well. Much better!
I have no stickers at all on my vehicle. I make the dealer take them off, or never put them on to begin with (they know me too well by now!) Would I support him? In a heartbeat!

Not meaning to be contrary or anything here, but I'll support Dennis by buying more products from Dennis. I'm not sticking anything to the back of my car. Just my personal preference; keep it stealth and under-stated. :)

I agree with Fourth.... when I just smoked somebody, I want them to wonder what just hit them. The only people that will know what those R or any other emblem means would be one of us. Personally, I would love to pull up next to another Marauder with decals stuck on the rear end, cause they won't know what just kicked their AZZ, cause all they will see are my Bob White Decals staring back at them......why tip your hand?

I feel the same way, when ever I purchase a supercharger I don't want any markings on my Marauder stating that fact, I want it to be stealth. :burnout:

Although still wet behind the ears here, and not wanting to make the wrong initial impression, I would caution to level a challenge at *all* ricers, particularly a Skyline. Their 2.6 liter inline six can support 600hp with no architectural internal engine mods (but obviously with turbo upgrade, injectors, intercooler, etc), and a stock block built motor can achieve 1200+.
I have a 95 Skyline GTR front clip (former Japanese Police car, aluminum front end) sitting in my shop right now, it's going in a 240SX with a Chevy Powerglide trans & Ford 9" or Nissan 9.9" rear diff.
It doesn't matter where it comes from these days, IMHO.

The Skyline is the ONLY ricer I would consider buying...it's probably the best looking Japanese car I've ever seen...not to mention the awesome powertrain...

My cousin helped build a 240SX with the Skyline drivetrain for a family member. Car goes mid 12s on winter tires in the 1/4. Yes, winter tires. Why? Probably because the owner's sunk all his cash into 3 motors (yes, 3 motors - he keeps overdoing things and blowing engines left and right from cutting corners). Sad.
Totally streetable, too. Exterior is totally stock looking, unlike most poseurs with stickers + clear tail-lamps mods + new front end etc.etc. Kind of nice to see something that sedate looking lay a hurting on Z06 Corvettes from a roll.
The way I see it, this is the true spirit of hot-rodding, reminiscent of the flat-head V8'ers of the 50s.

Hey guys, i'm sorry but i dont think that the "R" really works for me for all the reasons you've already stated. And as for ricers, besides the skyline, the only one that i would consider would be the Toyota Supra TT. I was reading up on it before i purchased the marauder... the Supra cost toyota 90K to build while they only sold it for 55-60. Also, the supra can handle 1000hp.... and is supposedly the most complex and most powerful powerplant out of japan to date in the United States. But hey, you can't beat the marauder :)

If you've seen the Skyline, DAMN What a fantastic car
They list it as 276 horsepower coming out of the factory but if you dyno'd it yourself, actually comes out as 320hp.......All Wheel Drive.......Fantastic car. Although the ones they import here are still in Right hand drive?.....Wel, the steering wheel's on the right..
The best looking and the only one I'd drive would be the GTR-R34..... If you don't know, I love all kinds of cars and I'm not just biased to my Monster Marauder :)

How about a decal/emblem that says simply
"MARAUDER DR1" for the Stage 1. "DR2" for Stage 2, etc.?
