Well, ain't it just my luck! I bought my 2003 Marauder last Thursday, 06/28, and owned it for a whopping five days(including the day I bought it) before trouble struck. I got in it to go to work Monday, 07/02, to gloat and show off to the co-workers and low and behold, the AC stopped working! JHC! So, a couple days and diagnosis later, I needed a new blower motor and connector. Disappointing to say the least but in the recent 110 degree heat, it had to be repaired ASAP. Let's hope it doesn't become a pattern........:(

On to happier thoughts and projects, the first performance mods. What specifically is recommended? If these cars are like Mustangs, gears will make a big difference in a big hurry. It's already been recommended to go with 4.10's, which is what my 96 Cobra needed and it had, essentially, the same motor. I've read good things about the SCT Xcalibrator 2 with regards to performance enhancement. How about intake? I see several different models of CAI's however I am in CA and only K&N seems to have a CARB exemption. Exhaust? No CAT deletes allowed. Anyway, recommendations are welcome regarding the type and order of modification that will result in the best bang for the buck.

One last thing, I've already looked into the supercharger thing however right now, it is on the back burner due to cost. Thanks again.

Congrats on the purchase! 4.10's are a big help, and are the recommended gears for us, CAI's is pretty much personal preference. I have a JLT, but like you said K&N is CARB exemption. Exhaust, most of us switch mufflers and get non resonated tips to help with the sound. I have full Reinhart Cobra exhaust, but two cats are deleted in that setup. Unsure about Stainless Works and Kooks. Definately get an Xcal2 from either Dennis Reinhart, or Alternative Auto, both are good.
