this may be a dumb question, but what exactly do these do? im thinking make the exhaust louder?:help:

call Wes at Innovative interceptors for the best price, he's a vendor here. Gordon, AKA Haggis, has the best install thread and all the info you'll ever want to know about the install, and how they work. If you want loud, it's the cheapest/best bang for the buck, by far. :)

There is a secondary tube inside of your stock tips. It's only 1 1/2" in diameter...(please correct me if I'm wrong) and it runs about 3/4ths of the way through the stock tips quieting the sound considerably.

The delete tips dont have that secondary tube...they're wide open. A very nice compliment to any exhaust system IMO. I have them and love them.

My bad. Fixed. Stocks are 3" with 2.5" inlet, IIRC.

thanks for the link Mike! i think i might try to do what Haggis did with the interchangeable tips. i like the idea of being able to change sound at will.

Just get them, you will like them if you want your exhaust sound to be a little bit louder and want to turn heads. I love mine.

I have the 4" delete tips from Wes. They have a deeper sound. A little louder when you tromp it. You'll love them.
