You must mean Ford Racing Parts 4.10 gears....
Since the MM's rear is a "standard" 8.8 Ford unit any shop that works on Mustangs can do the job. Check with any speed shops, Mustang clubs etc. in your area.

I agree with FBM, but make sure it's a reputable shop. While not not most expensive mod, a gear set ain't cheap, and you don't want somebody doing a hack job on the installation. Ask for references, and then check 'em out before committing. Also, get the girdle along with the 4:10's.
BTW, you'll LOVE your car after getting the 4:10's and an adjusted tune!

Why is the girdle so important? Is the factory girdle notorious for breaking?

There is no factory girdle.
You don't NEED one. It IS cheap insurance (and bling) and helps reinforce the dif casing for added power in the future. It's also a 'while you're at it' part since the cover will be off and a new cover with girdle (or reinforcement) and drain plug can be installed at the same time.
DR sells this:
http://www.lpwracing.com/images/products/ultrapro_capcover.jpg
Ours is the middle one. It has everything we need: integrated cover AND girdle, cap support load bolts, thick heat-treated aluminum const, fill AND drain ports, heat dissipation, increased (slightly) fluid cap, and still clears our rear sway bar.

Ditto on that. Yeah, Rich is a great guy and on the ball. He does however have the needle stuck and modification drugs deep in his arm:lol:. There really is no help for him in that department:shake:.

Yes, and it's and addiction I can't afford!!! The good thing about having limited funds is that it drives you to do the research and homework while you save for the next round. It's because of this that I've NEVER had to reverse a modification because I didn't like it or to move forward to the next one. This is why I share as much as I can with others, so that they, too, never have to 'waste' a mod!!!
BTW, I don't have this cover (yet) but HAVE held one in my hands and thoroughly checked it out. It's on my list!!!!

Send DR an e-mail or give him a call, he might have them in stock, but not displayed on his website.
Otherwise, you can order through Ford Racing:
http://www.performanceparts.ford.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField= 6409
+2 on Rich's comments. Good looking part as well as functional.
