Added more BLUE to the BLUE!

My 'Paint Guy' sanded everything down, taped, painted, then cleared over EVERYTHING. The clear really sharpens up the remaining Red Lens.
Set me back 2 bills. Best mod for the BLUE yet. :beer:

The $200. job is about rgiht, it is a lot work taping and sanding.

I left it like it is so I would not lose the reflector. Blue MM's have a high accident rate, remember :D And mainly because it would look silly painted, unless the lower slit on the reverse light was painted as well.

The paint is spot on, its just the pic.

Funny, all this hype about Blues. MY DTR came with MATCHING rear lights.

Ya know ... I love this mod on the DTR and DBP. It's okay on the blacks. But, for some reason ... it doesn't looks as good on the SB (my color) IMHO.

Very interesting observation ... 'cause I think it looks best on the Silver Birch. Once again proof that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. :D

Tail lights look great. Have been thinking of doing this to mine. Maybe Uncle Sam will give me an extra Social Security Check so that I can do some of these neat things.

I finally got my S-55 for my BLUE done. Another one for you to salivate over :drool: . It took me a while to get it apart and delivered, but the price was worth it. $0 It pays to have friends in the body shop business.

Crazy shtuff. Took BLUE out for a short romp, to dinner and back (Yesh, the Outback). She's been "Iced" and "S-55" applied. Had 4 different people come up and compliment me on the BLUE and 2 of them immediately noticed the "S-55" treatment. Two guys want a MM now. I turned so many heads tonight that new Chiropractic centers are opening for sprained necks. Found a "impromptu carlot car show", so of course I had to roll thru. You can imagine the comments. Kewl. Ended with stopping at a gas station (for a lottery ticket, BLUE needs a DTR sister), and parked behing another Dark Cherry Impala. (He's one that wants a MM now). :) Gawd this is FUN !!!
