My prayers go out to the owner and his family. Im I the first to see this car?
Kind of scary background shots, but I asked a few questions.
Would make a good car to roll over for profit

My Buddy John just picked it up.
If I was closer, I would have bought it to roll over.
He got a sweet deal Wes, let us know the real condition of the car?

Looks to be a hybrid A/B. TC to the left of the steering wheel with map pockets on the front seats and dash clock.

If I had your money, I would buy the pick up for a project.

Hi Gang just an update.
This is a SHIFTY DEAL. After many phone calls, she admits that the car has been wrecked on the passenger side. Both the doors are damaged, as well as scratches on the front fender and hood. The paint is fading and flaking from the roof hood and trunk. Oh yeah, the car is a smokers car.
She also wanted CASH in person, and would not accept a bank draft, verifiable cashiers check, or US Postal money orders. The lady could not verify the title being available, lien free, or clean, and demanded the car be picked up and paid for in cold hard cash.
Here's some pics.

the auction does say clear title, but the right side picture doesn't show the damage anywhere near as bad as it is.
Still might be a not bad buy.

I agree with him, clear title or not i would never buy a banged up marauder no matter how rare they are. You see on ebay they dont show it in the pics, and it says "still looks good" :bs:
If your friend is gonna buy it atleast both of you test drive it, and if the lady isnt with you in the car really put the pedal to the floor to see if anything breaks or sounds abnormal.

I like the wagon.
But to get it to Calgary would cost more than the car.

I forgot to add, the car has 23K, not 2300 miles as listed in the auction.
And, she can't even produce a title for it.

No, 23,000 miles and no title. But when she did have the title there were no coffee stains on it.

Those crunched RH doors look as tho that may have been patched up, at least once before ... prior to the current damage.
Or is it simply a pic of questionable quality ?.
I could probably go back to junkyards in NJ & find 30+ year old cars that I stumbled upon in the mid 1980's as a teen, that have been picked over & weathering for 20+ years ..... that are in overall better shape than that car.
It just baffles me to no end how someone could let such a young & far from cheap car go like that. People should have to take a test before they are permitted to buy/drive/own a nice car ... esp such a rare one. But then again these days ... it seems the majority of people should also have to take a test before they are allowed to reproduce.

agreeded on the production test. i just graduated highschool(yes i am young)with 7 kids with children. not to mention the one girl who dropped out with twins.
i saw that on ebay and was pissed i bought mine, a graduation present to myself(no help from mommy and daddy on anything you want in this family), for $18K. mine has 35K miles on it but doesnt have "minor dents on the side:P" that thing is junked now. they probably let it sit out and rust up anyway. and he said he was selling it due to health conditions? ya you have to be sick to let a MM rot away and be neglected.

Now that I see the damage, the deal doesn't sound so good.
A good paint job is about 8K plus the damage repair.
I think you can find one with no damage for less than 20K.

Wes, maybe your friend can negotiate a new price for it, considering the cost of repair.
