Hey All,
Im curious, is the PCV valve on our cars on the passenger side valve cover?
How often does it need replacing and is it available at Autozone or any other FNPS?
Thanks!

Actually there are 2.
Driver's side rear is an EV-111 Ford Part# EOTZ-6A666A,
fits in a rubber grommet. On a stock (N/A) car it runs to the
rubber intake tube, pre throttle body.
Passenger side front, EV-257 Ford part# 2X4Z-6A666AA,
twist-lock fitting, runs to top of intake manifold.
Also found they are not normal stock at FLAPS.

This part number brings up a V6 engine.
Is it still the correct part #?
^^ what they said. Have not found a flap carrying them here either. dealer wants 17.50, and would have to order it. rock auto.com has them much more affordably

You can only use ONE.....the EV-111 is for PC blower cars to keep blower pressure out of the crank case while in boost!! On my setup I "gutted" the OEM and reversed the flow through the EV-111.
The one on the passenger's side is stock and the grommet at to rear of the driver's side cam cover is only a fitting (no check valve) to provide inlet air to the crank case!!

You can "renew" a PCV. Remove PCV from car. Carefully spray carb or throttle body cleaner into a dirty PCV, keep it away from your face as you might get spray back. Once it is very wet, hold fingers over both openings, shake it up a bit. Repeat as needed to loosen the valve inside. It should rattle with very little effort. I know a can of cleaner is more expensive than just buying the correct part, but this is offered as alternative until you acquire one.
I saw a mechanic do this once it aid passing emissions test. Apparently, mine was stuck open, and sucking too much from the crankcase. This quick fix helped me to pass.

So, if my PCVs are fine but I want to replace them anyway when I do spark plugs in a few thousand miles what are the correct part numbers for both PCVs?
Install should be a snap (literally)? Just pull out the stock (old) PCV and snap in the new one?

Couldn't find a place that had em. Guess I'll dig up the can from storage and spray away.

This shouldn't need replacement unless it get damaged somehow.
