:wave:Howsit everybody,

I have a question, that I need some help on...

Does re-flashing from one tune (93#) to another tune (91#) several times "often" hurt or damage the computer in any way?

BTW: I realize my smashing down the pedal on EVERY tune change, and at EVERY stop will probably hurt something:D...But I 'm focusing on the computer right now;)

Thanks for all your help...ALOHA

My tuner re-flashed my computer 4 times when he was getting my tune set-up on the dyno. Thats a re-flash then WOT, then repeat.

Most members here have gone through the same so Im pretty sure that it wont harm the computer.

The Flash Erasable Electrically Programmable Read Only Memory chip in the ECM or EEPROM could care less how many times you flash it. I probably re-flashed mine dozens and dozens of times trying to fine tune part-throttle shift points and among other things to my liking. So don't worry, if you have the time, flash away to your heart's content. No harm done to the ECM from it. As far as your drivetrain, that's a different story.

Our computers have reprogamable devices and should be able to take a reflash as often as you like.

Mashing down the accelerator at every reflash or stop sign will not hurt the computer. Moving parts will most likely be affected but shouldn't fail prematurely. I mash my accelerator every chance I get and at every stop, traffic permitting. Keeps the car healthy IMO.
