I just removed the factory sub enclosure from my 300A. I have no need for it and I'd prefer to let it go to a good home. Let me know if you want it.

What's your location - if you're not to far from Long Island I would like to get it for my daughter's '04 CV LX Sport!

I'd hate to tell ya, but the PO didnt have to abuse it for it to blow out, they suck and will nuke listening to Barry Manilow. All of the ones I went to test drive had noisy subs.

Any of you that replaced it care to chime in with details on the install?
What is a good DIRECT replacement?

If you want something that's easy to install and sounds pretty good, you might want to look at some Infinity basslinks. It's basically the same amp/sub combo as you got from the factory but better. There's usually a bunch of em' on ebay. I wanted a little more thump so I went with a lineout converter to factory radio along with what's listed in my sig. Nothing too crazy, but it sounds great and didn't cost me an arm and a leg.

If you want it, I can drop it off to you when I head to Memphis on Monday the 23rd. Saves you shipping!

It's not the sub. It's the rear insulation. Add a layer of 1/2" foam bleow the rear deck.
