Anyone know where I can get some without having to buy the oem control arms with them? I was going to tackle putting in Zack's tonight until I started on the passenger side and saw how bad they look, one looked extremely dry rotted which really bothers me, driver's side was almost the same way, with the bushing on the lower control arm that is connected to the rear axle, I mean I could pick some off with my finger know so I know they should be replaced asap. I'd like to get a whole new set of uppers and lowers, hopefully I can get some before MMV drag day other wise I won't be racing. :alone:

You'll be fine. Those bushings will outlast the car. Just put the old ones on. If that doesn't work or doesn't feel right to go a junkyard and find a wrecked Vic or something and take those bushings.

The suspension bushings on my 26k mile car all show some checking. A lot of times the outside of the bushing that is exposed to air and UV will check but the inside will be fine. Are they really that bad on this new a car?

I understand they may still be good but I'd much rather see first if I can get another set, take the control arms to a shop and get them pressed in so everything will be a lot quicker and I know that have newer bushings and not ones that may worry me.
theres gotta be some Metco customers that are willing to part with theirs...???

LOL yeah I don't think anyone who has put Metco's on is going to take them off. I would just replace the stock arms with the Metcos if they are off anyway and look worn. I'd give you my 26k mile stock arms if I had metco's already but those are a little ways off
I have a set of stock rear control arms. Are you coming to the drag event ? If so I could bring them and save the shipping.

Zack more likely meant stock arms left after a Metco install......

True...... I can't imagine anyone wanting to take their Metco's off....
Whats wrong with you people?
I meant part with their STOCK control arms, cause they put the shiny Metco's on.
