You might want to do a search for the tire matrix that was posted here. I'm at work and can't find it, but it gave a very good idea as to what sizes were possible.

I did my homework from the tire sizes to the revolutions per mile to the height and speed difference for several different sized tires and I went with the MM.net recommended size of 255/55/18 in the Nitto 420S for the rears (thanks to Magindat.) That was the closest size that wouldn't throw the Traction Control into a fit nor would it throw the speedometer off by too much. (I think it was 1mph at 60 mph difference.)

I found that the non-stock sizes are generally CRAZY money, and the stock sizes are WICKED CHEAP. I think BFG made a million of these tires, and we are the only people that need them;)

When money is no issue: 255/45/18s in the front, in the rear inboard rear shocks, rear rims widened to ELEVEN OR TWELVE INCHES (not just 10) and 335/30R18s in the back.

I am now lowered by 1" or so and run 255-45-18 up front.

Where is the speedo located front or rear?

This will determine how much or any speed difference you will have in the car. So if it is front for the speedo reading and you use stock front size. Then whatever you have on the back doesn't matter as long as it fits without screwing up the ABS TC ...

You're running this exact set up front and back and not having any Traction Control issues?

Without TC you can do this.

Speedometer is read off the trans. Traction control and antilock systems also have a speed sensor on each wheel.
