Left Front Door Belt Molding

Has anyone replaced the left front door belt molding on their Marauders? The molding that I am speaking of is the one at the very top of the door panel and it is chrome and black rubber. I have to replace mine and was wondering how hard of a job it was. Thanks.

You usually have to remove the door panel, loosen the window guide brackets, drop the window down and it usually lifts out on an angle. Best to get the service manual as framed and unframed windows are slightly different, if you take your time, its not too bad.. Richy

Is this the one that goes under the mirror? If it is, remove the black nut that holds it down underneath the edge of the door. After that, pull up and toward the back to remove. I replaced mine before and I have to do it again. This time I'll buy new.

The right rear door molding on my car was bad right from the factory. The dealer had already ordered a replacement for it before I ever saw the car.
