Why are so many Ghosts showing up in chat lately?

Why are Contributers no longer able to share files in Chat?

Why did I return from Vacation???

Yea, it took me a 2 weeks to get back in the swing. 3 years, 3 months until my permanent vacation begins :banana2:

I don't think they're ghosts, they are people logging in, seeing you're in chat and quickly leaving. :rolleyes: Just a guess.

Their name shows up, but they are not in there.

There were 11 last night. You were one of them if I am not mistaken, as was Budman. He was not on, but was showing as being in there.

I believe Tom Doan was listed as well, SicilianMarquis....lots of folks, and no Chatting. A refresh did not solve it.

It used to happen where a Ghost appeared, but a refresh removed them.

I noticed, early on, that sometimes I'd go into Chat and the second I logged in and entered, the other person in there left. Happened a number of times. It seems to hold on to the last screen name, and doesn't release it until someone new logs in. You can't go by the names listed on the Forums page.

Last week there were about six zombies in chat. It is down to two names now.

I also saw this, so he isnt going crazy, infact ive been seeing it for the past week!

Who wants to really go in chat sometime and have a chat in the chatroom! :beer:
