exhaust tune?

I was wondering how the Marauder will respond to swapping out the stock mufflers w/a set of Flowmasters or equivalent slightly better than stock mufflers? Will it require a tune? Not very familiar w/these modular engines and have heard some will respond negativly without a tune after even minor mods. Just looking for a little extra sound, and few HP while saving for bigger and better mods. I can't afford the full $1800 kit right now.

While this statement is true...a tune is a very desireable thing to have anyway, and not that expensive. I say you get mufflers, and a tune.

I have flowmaster 40's. I did them with my delete tips at the same time. Wonderful sound change. Very aggressive sounding.

Thanks for the info. I want to get the tuner but don't have the extra $400 right now. The accountant (a.k.a. my wife) will only allow for a little at a time. Had a bad experience w/a cougar that is still a W.I.P. (being dismantled) at $16k in. They saw me coming from a mile. You live and learn.
