"Wimpy" '04.....Grrrrrr!!!

Well I did a little backyard engineering and made a "Blower Delete" tube to hook up the "MAF/Filter tube to the blower output tube so I could drive(?) the car while the blower is getting a D&C!!!!:D:eek:

Fired it up today to go to the Post Office (16 miles round trip) and........"WIMPED" my way out there and back!!!:argue::confused::help:

I'll tell ya.....when you are used to spinning in first gear....1/3 throttle launches leave a LOT to be desired!!!:mad2:

ProCharger said I could drive it but to stay well on the vacuum side....so it won't run real rich!!:shake:

I think the truck is going to see some miles until my "HUFFER" comes back!!:cool:

Blower amputation for rebuild......sounded like a coffee can full of rocks but ran fine??:confused:

I figured that at 64K miles it was time to let ProCharger go through it so it wouldn't leave me in "Da Boonies"!!:eek:

Probably just a noisy bearing but we will see??:confused:

Remember your 2 PSI runs.....well, divide them by TWO and that's about how mine is now without the blower!!:shake:
