Just checked the weather report for the picnic on Thursday and it will be sunny and 90. Haven't had a lick of rain around here and the lawns look like shredded wheat, all the storms dry up before they get to Burtonsville sooooo I left the windows down and have an inch of water in the door handles this morning. Wahing the car and leaving the windows down work better than the old fashioned rain dances FWIW

Hope your window switches still light up and work...

My car's other driver did that about 2 months ago, you know, the last time it rained around here. Lucky it was only the driver's side rear that was left open. Thought I got all the water but the door lock is intermittent now.
I'd recommend a blow dryer and electrical contact spray if you have the time.

Tom,
I feel your pain. I have done that at work and gotten a 'surprise' when I got in to go home.

I guess living in NY is good for something. I never leave my windows open and car unlocked.:D

I did that in England when I left the sunroof open on my Toyota.
Drove around for a few weeks sitting on several towels.
Car deodoriser make a huge difference after a couple weeks too.
You learn once if you repeat it you shouldn't be driving.
