Ok, I got my new personal best ET & and all the trimmings (not by a lot). It was enough to put me, right behind the Lady, who got my access to the site, restored. Yeah I'm talkin' 'bout you, Bunny! Thanks Mary! A friend on CVN, "Tony the Brit", brought a set of BFG drag radials, for me to try on. Thanks to his generosity; My new personal best, 60' @ 1.879 and ET's. 13.451 @ 101.1 all accomplished, in extreme, 92* humid conditions! I crushed a Modified '93+ fox body, with Slicks, Skinnies, Giant cowl hood, Super loud Exhaust! After he displayed; an enormous John Force style Burnout! I roll up with a tiny .5 second, "shed the stones off the tires" style, formality. He had me on reaction time, by a tenth, .39 to .55 but by 60', It was all Trilogy Marauder he saw, 2.0 to my 1.89 and the 14 flat to my 13.4 was very satisfying! The next race was not as fruitful, I got hammered by a 70's full size 440 ram air Mopar, running 11.3 on a red light . Two more runs with my stock tires, and I had to relearn, all over again! A great day for sure!
