I did some searching but couldn't find anything that really answered my questions so here it goes...
Lately I've noticed a strange feeling in the rear end of the car when I would go over bumps. Kinda like something bottoming out. The air suspension seemed to be working fine as I would hear the compressor fire up when I started the car and would look out the rear view mirror at a fixed point to make sure it was rising.
Well, yesterday my wife has the car and said she heard a "bang" under the hood that sounded like maybe the serpentine belt whipping off or something. She didn't notice any difference in ride or performance.
So last night, I'm driving and I see the "air susp" light on and the rear feels wicked bouncy. The shockes are full of air and the tires are not up in the fenders.
Any ideas? Has this happened to anyone else?

check air sup switch in trunk make sure its on. sometimes when you hit bumps head on you get the bottom out feel in the rear. both air bags are absorbing bump at the same time. like going over a speed bump. light will come on when switch is off in trunk.

Ok, now it's not working at all. Looks like first I need to check to see if the compressor is getting power.
I JUST fixed the air suspension in my wife's car too.
