What gauge wire did you use? Where did you ground?

Thats what she said.

I would think anything over 2 would be sufficient for 100-120 amp draw over 17+ feet. So I would go 0 gauge.

Where'd you ground to , Rich?

I currently have 4 running for the stereo, but I have some 0 in stock.

Make sure you use a battery box that will be track legal. I think they have to be sealed???

I have two grounds, one to the frame and one to the body.
I have 4 gauge feeding from the alternator.
You did see my "battery to the trunk install" thread over there right? I lay it all out with pics!

So....you don't want to post up something like that here after all of the information you have gotten from THIS site? Nice.....

I would... but I want something in return. This has been discussed.

Don't like it? Ask those who can fix what I would like fixed to fix it.
Besides, It's not like I've done nothing for this site at all since 10/02 when I became a member here.

Oh... and I've done a few other interesting mods to my car that I've posted and documented.

Then why even mention that you posted it there? Just trying to cause drama?

IMO...you should not have even mentioned it.

What's wrong with telling someone, where to find the answer?. Drama? choice(s)?

Heck no Steve. Just reminding Rich where it's posted. You don't even have to register to see it and read it.
I go to other sites all the time mining for information, don't you?

Don't matter where it is. Heck, I post as much of that stuff as I can get my hands on on SSM.net. Thanx for the info, Rich. I'll try to look when I'm at home.

It IS, however a bit of a bummer it can't all be in one place. Maybe someday...

This is a nice thread too. It's for a late mustang, but it's similar.

I am curious as to what is being placed where the battery was.

I think the battery relocate to the trunk would offset some of the wt added by an S/C.

My question is what has been placed in lieu of the battery in the OEM location under the hood?

Another battery and one in the trunk? Is that because they are "never start" and with 2 negatives u get a positive that always starts?

I think guys that move the battery usually have something such as an alcohol tank that they want the room for and some just for weight distribution, but unless you are seriously racing the weight issue is not worth the trouble in my opinion

My methanol tank is there.
