Can anyone help out? I'm kind of tired of the BFG's, saw that Nitto has a pretty good set for the rears(255/55/18) and about 40 bucks cheaper, just the dont have the 235/50/18 for the front, i don't want to mix brands front/ rear...any help??:confused:

With your S/C you need to widen the wheels and go with Nitto 295/45R18.

+1 on the widened rears! Big improvement in traction, and looks!
I did the Nitto's with 255 45 18 in from and 295 45 18's out back and they look incredible! People actually ask if the wheels and tires are aftermarket...cuz the tread and contact patch is nasty!
Not too much money at Discount Tire Direct and the opportunity for road hazard warranty at a cheaper price than many stores!

LOL I don't know about different brand front and rear tires "not making a difference". Belt construction and stiffness, as well as tread block design and compound will make huge differences in how a tire reacts. I would not mix and match without paying attention to the tires' characteristics. If you are driving on the highway and one set hydroplanes before the other, you are in trouble.

I use Nitto 420s in the rear and 555 on the front. Good combo. Been runnin that way 2 years. I get about 30+K out of my tires.
