Under instruction from DR, I just bought a Lightning 90MM MAF. He says I need a re-tune for it to work.

Not to flame, but why? To gain .5 HP? Your money is better spent elsewhere.

ON a stock MM the throttle body might gain .5 hp, but on a highly modded setup that needs the extra air, the stock TB is probably holding you back a lot more than that.

I ask because I read on another thread that the 3" full exhaust actually makes the engine loss power because the top end isn't getting enough air. So I was wondering if this will solve that problem?
just trying to plan my mods.

Nah. It's been dyno'd. Just not worth it.

you need a lot of engine to justify 3" exhaust.

Rich I think he meant the actual TB and not MAF.

Did you go inter cooled or the non-inter cooled?
I thought a few non-inter cooled versions had been sold, but haven't read much about the results since.

Who has installed an Accufab 90 MM TB on a Trilogy SC. What were the HP results and how was the driveability. Any install problems.

Duh, I saw lightning and immediately thought MAF. I have the Accufab Mach1 TB. Can't say it gained much HP, but definitely gained noticible throttle response!

Install is CAKE. It won't take you 15 minutes start to finish.

I know the install is easy, but is it worth the $300 or so for the few extra HP?
