Dennis: The first mods I plan to make over the next few months to my newly acquired Marauder is a tune followed by 4:10's (I plan to keep her N/A and eventually add CAI, Pulleys, exhausts, spacer, etc.). In shopping tunes, it's really down to either yours or your competitor (which I will be respectful enough not to mention on your forum). I would prefer to go with you because of the service and the level to which you cater to Marauder owners. However, your competitor makes a compelling case for his tune on his website giving explicit details on the tune parameters, how it affects driveability and even providing dyno results. Do you have similar marketing materials for your tune that I have missed? It would be nice just to take the car to you to tune, but I live in eastern NC, which makes it a bit unpractical.
All the best.

Prof,
You would do well to go with DR in your particular case for one reason alone... He EMAIL you updated tunes as necessary after each mod. He knows the mods well and knows how to tune for each.
I've never seen any marketing material for a DR tune. Just we and us who have DR tunage...
So get started. Get his base tune. Order subsequent mods from him and get the updated tune to go with it (if needed).
It's a relationship you won't be sorry you started.

i'm in the same position asking the same question... To go further the other guy endorses using the K&N kit and i notice most guys are using the JLT kit which is better to use. I'd like to get the right thing the first time. Please advise.

There is no right or wrong. There is only personal preference. Either way and your car will thank you and that's RIGHT!
JLT vs K&N make the same power, but in different places in the RPM band.
Both major XCAL vendors wake the car up, but they shift different.
Either way you go, the car will improve.
I personally have JLT. Same power, less $ and available from a site vendor.
I have DR tunage for reasons I've posted many times in many places.
And for the endorsement, you'll never get better service from any other Ford XCAL dealer on the planet. Period.
You'll also make a friend.

I have been running a Reinhart tune for a year or so. Still kick myself for waiting a year and agonizing over it. I think you'll be happy either way you go. I live in FL, so I ordered from DR. He took the time to come to Orlando to meet us when we were forming a local Marauder group and donated an Xcal2 with tune for a drawing. My Xcal2 came with the standard tune for a stock MM and a second tune for 4:10 gears.
The tune makes a very noticeable improvement to anyone that has drive bone stock Marauders. Adding a CAI and mufflers to the tune enhanced things even more.

This should be handled by PM or a phone call, but its here. Its also a bit inpractiacal to take your car to the other place, all I can say is buy mine and try it, I also do not charge for tweaks or upgrades, after 30 days if you do not like it send back, call me I will tell you the differences.

30 days approval on a performance mod, that standing behind your product.
I have been running a Reinhart tune since 2,500 miles.
Look at my sig.
Car was dyno 1 year and 20K+ S/C miles w/ numerous 1,320' runs apart and the same dyno #'s, now thats a tune.:D

Dennis: I apologize if this was an inappropriate medium to pose this question.

In California, the K&N intake has a CARB certification ( smog legal ).
I have that w/ a DR tune. The K&N intake will not change the XCALII tune.
