Actually that's "Door" switches don't light up....
I was running a "Search" on replacement bulbs, for the Gauges and noticed a post asking what to do about his window switch light that was out....
Man, mine have never been lighted....:confused: I just thought that was the cheap way it was suppose to be....
None of my door switches light up (yes the lights are turned on...:rolleyes:)
Well I guess I'd better start digging and find out why mine don't light up...
Any tips out there from folks that may have had the same problem...

window switches do light up. ford has had problems with lights burning out flickering ect on window and heated seat switches . ford will replace under warranty.

Just in case...If your windows are "Locked" (button)...the window switches will NOT illuminate.

Is it as simple as a bulb or is it a module or what?? My driver went out shortly after warranty.:confused:

Took everything apart...
got all the switches on the arm rest (both sides of car) to light up....:D
but I can't get the seat adjustment switches to light up...:(
Are they suppose to light up too...?

no, the seat adjustment switched don't light up.

The lights are LED lights, no bulbs...If they are bad (water got in?) the entire unit must be replaced.

True...The seat adjustment switches DO NOT light up.

what about the window lock switch, does it have the lighting ability?

If anyone has a spare or bad switch, I can make the attempt at repairing the switch lights. If it works out, I may be able to fix out of warranty switches for the group. I just need to see an old one to determine whats going on..

i dont think the seat adjustments one light up b\c i have a 01 marquis ls and mine dont lite up, and my cousin have a 03 gs, and his dont

I know that the seat adjustment and the window lock switch do not illuminate. I had my master switch replaced under warranty and about to have the door lock switch and 2 actuators done too.
