No. The center section of the MM intermediate pipe looks to be only 2" (pinch bent 2" at that). It is really really little. Not sure on your exhaust switcharoo. With a welder anything will fit. Don't know if the marquis and MM exh. manifolds dump out the same.

Hopefully someone will chime in on wether the dumps are the same!

Thanks for the info:beer:

I've always thought stock was 2 1/4, people say they're barely that, if that. I don't see why it wouldn't swap onto it no problem. It is still the same design, and most likely the same length.

I'll take pics showing a caliper on the stock pipe when I have a chance, they are not true 2.25" pipes in the middle.

If you could take pics verifying that the exhaust from my Marquis would bolt right onto a Marauder, that would be great too (while youre at it that is)

If you google up "2003 Marauder specifications", yes indeed 2" only between the mufflers and Megs.

" .....
To minimize exhaust backpressure - and make a bold visual and auditory statement - the engine has 2-inch diameter high-flow stainless steel exhaust pipes through the hot end and 2.25-inch tailpipes out of the muffler with 3-inch stainless steel Megs brand tips. Under acceleration, the exhaust note is aggressive, with the unmistakable sound of a large American V-8 engine. However, overall sound levels are very subdued when cruising, creating a surprisingly tranquil cabin.

Here's the info I recently posted in another thread:
This may answer your question.
Stock system pipes -OD measures
Manifold to CAT1 = 2 1/4 "
CAT1 to CAT2 = 2 1/2 "
H pipe = 2 " all
Muffler to Tips = 2 1/4 "

Maybe............stay tuned

However, i believe the LSE #'s to be much less than a MM. Desireability factor sucks huge monkey balls tho on the GM

Thank you, that does answer part of the question.

However, since it is a different engine, are the manifolds placed differently.

Question.....why the hell would you swap a GM exhaust onto a MM that already has duals.

Raudermaster, I think he has some sort of custom exhaust on his Grand marquis, that he wants to keep if he gets a Marauder to put it on.

Oh I see, I thought he just had the stock LSE duals with muffler's.

That would make for one friekin' quiet Marauder.
