I still can't make up my mind on a s/c. On one hand I want to do the addition but then $5k plus labor and no guarantee.:(
Am I better off to just put $5k into the purchase of a new charger and have a performance car thats under warranty.
Just need some input. I already did 4:10's, 3000 stall t/c, JLT and an x-cal from Lideo.

Ed, with the New and improved Trilogy kit coming very soon, I speculate some current Trilogy owners will be trading up. You may aquire a used kit, for more reasonable dollars. The Chrysler product even in SRT-8 form, is still a bit slower off the line , than a Trilogy or (insert your favorite FI here). If you do go Trilogy, I would suggest a wheel / tire upgrade as well. Even the base "T" kit, will turn your rear tires into shreads, especially in your case with the PI 3000 converter.

I know of 2 slightly used Trilogy kits, both excellent and both with full 1 year warrentees by Trilogy International. One is my Trilogy #110 and one is available directly from Trilogy. Happy hunting. Mine is being replaced by the New Twin Screw # TS001 that I won in a raffle to support WDC. Here is the FruitPunch#110. Dennis:burnout:

In all likely hood a new car will cost alot more than $5K, most depreciate 40-50% in 3-5 years.

You realize if you get the charger, you are stuck driving a charger. Get the Super Charged Marauder and you don't ever have to drive a charger.

That depreciatetion is for retail replacement.

For sales all car depreciate 30% the first year and 10% each year there after, generally.

When it hits 90% off it tend to level out and then heads to a $1000 level were it just sits.

Some cars like Phaetons and Jaguars depreciate even faster.

Ed, do you remember we had a bet on the best times at the track, oh, back a year or better.

I finally got to the track to do some runs and my best time N/A is 14.2 and my best time with nitrous was 13.5 @ 103 MPH. :burnout:

How have you done? I forgot what we bet, a bottle of something or other, right?

I'm posting this because I haven't seen any posts from you in a coon's age.

Stay with the Marauder if you can. Chargers I see all the time, some really nice, but I saw a black Marauder today and it turned my head. Duh..... I have a Marauder, that's why.

Chargers are a dime a dozen. And most that are sold are 3.5L V6's. The charger is an okay car, but unless you get a SRT-8 I wouldn't make the purchase. Plus a supercharger on your Marauder would make it an animal with your mods. Either one I will support the need for speed.
