For the NTM membership:

The Texas Twins will be at Chucks to recount their experiences at Marauderville V, the thrill of victory (James), the agony of defeat (Pat), the drama, the hearbreak, the excitement of Marauder's cruising, racing, parking.

Cruzer, bring the Marauder Alley sign and I'll buy the first round of soft drinks.

I posted on another NTM thread when the forum was experiencing difficulties, but it seems our forum is working again so I'm posting a dedicated thread.

I definitely plan to be there---as long as there is air conditioning close by. I hope to have my original back bumper on the car--sure will be nice to have it back. I'm not bringing the Barracuda--it's garage bound for a while--nothing serious. Can't wait to see and hear about MV5---I'll try to get the meeting room for an hour. See all you folks there,Maury

Patricia, the indefatigable, will be there. Things are controllable with diet, until surgery sometime later. You know how gub'mt paper blizzards are, can't have treatment until the paperwork equals the weight of the patient.

Who cares about the outside temp when you can be in a nice AIR-CONDITIONED meeting room from 6 PM til ?? Had lunch there today and had a nice talk to the manager and we have meeting room reserved. I'm sure a lot of you would like to see what Maraudervilles are all about. Pat and James will be there with all the news and pics they collected at MV5. Let's see how many Marauder Nuts can fill up the room. This is a good chance to show off your MM, be cool while everybody else fries and visit with good friends.
Let's see if we can't get the MM count up over 5 for a change--we've missed having many of you around. Soooooo, plan on coming and visiting for a while. See you on the 25th. Maury

I have it penciled in, my sister is going to be flying in from out of state but she has not selected the date yet. Hopefully she will not pick that weekend. Hope to see you all there.

I've been wanting to come up all year, but it ain't happening this time either. My lovely bride bought me tickets for my birthday to see Styx / Foreigner / Def Leppard the following weekend at the Woodlands. I'm saving my buckies for the hotel room and contraband required for an outing like that!

Portable w/ Extension cord and Canopy. Be there or WE'LL be at your house for evening snacks. Leave the key under the mat.

Just bring a T.V. from home.....and an inverter, and plug it into the Marauder and you will have the crowd all around your car.....and prolly win best of show for having the 'Boys on at your car!!!

Two coolers, one with bottled tea, green and regular (lipton brand), and the other with bottled water. Also plastic cups. I'll get the ice refreshed when I drive in. Bringing two lawn chairs in case Votex forgets.

Does any one have a canopy? We can park farther down the row where the tree covers a couple of spots too.

Leaving around noonish, be there about threeish.

When is the next Chucks? I am trying to get a contigent together to caravan to the Dallas area from the San Antonio area....

Keep abreast of the three activity threads about (1) a Picnic, (2) a State Wide GTG and (3) Chuck's SVT shows.

Chuck's is a standing gig on the 4th Saturday of Every Month thru October.

I think attention, however, is centered on a GTG in Centerville, Texas in the October time frame.

Post up if you want to join in this discussion.

I can't make Chuck's this month but I am looking at an October fiesta in Centerville.

I am already in for Centerville....but Julian is here from Tenn. and I would like him to join us for a bigger gtg than I can do down here due to limited numbers of Marauders here, or rather limited interest. He is leaving at the end of the month so he wont beable to make the Centerville event.
