I know that we just finished up the Marauderville V (MV5) activities and some need a break. However, during the coordination efforts I found out about this annual "Augustoberfest" in Hagerstown that happens every year during the last week of August. Think of it as "Oktoberfest" -- just 2 months early. :D
Anyone here interested in getting together and browsing the activities and hitting the fest tent for some food and drink of the traditional German style? Everything is set up in the central parking lot near the Visitor's Center where we parked the night of the restaurant trip on Wednesday, 1 August.
I was thinking that we could meet in the large side parking lot of the MV5 hotel (Sheraton Four Points, 1910 Dual Highway) around Noon, 12 PM on Saturday, 25 August and then convoy to make a grand entrance at the festivities. Parking is in the parking garage across from the lot at 6 W. Potomac Street and the Visitor's Center.
