I want to know if anyone knows where I can find reproduction or good condition letters from older Mercurys. I was thinking something chrome and cursive. I don't exactly know what year I am looking for, but I got an idea. Anyone know where to find letters or maybe an old school Mercury badge? I'm talking like 1940's or 1950s.
MercMan maybe you can help.

Yeah, go to MAC website. They are in Lockport, NY. That's about 30 miles North of me. You can order a mercury book for a range of years, I think they will send you up to two at a time. They sell good stuff.
Got a few things for my 65 Thunderbird from them.
Just remember, that old stuff had pins that went in holes in the fender/body panel. You will likely have to grind those pins off and affix with epoxy or something. Unless you want to drilll holes in the fender !!!!

Dom,
I'd thought about something similar myself a while back, but couldn't find anything at the time.
FWIW, you may want to PM frdwrnch from the Carolina Maruaders, he's got some old-school god's heads as grill and trunk lid badges and he may have a line on a source for you.
