Simple question

Is it helpful to clean the IAC and the TPS with MAF cleaner? There was a noticable difference when I cleaned the MAF. The car ran much better. Will there be a similar (positive) affect on how the car performs if I clean these two parts? If so, what can I expect? Thanks

BTW: I ask because when searching...some said, "clean it"...some say, "it can't be cleaned" ???

Hey Bra,

I clean my MAF and Trottle Body at every oil change. I use about 1/2 a con of Throttle Body cleaner each time. I use the special MAF cleaner on the sensor....

The throttle plate felcrum can get a bit gooey over the miles.

I like the results...

The TPS is an electrical part. No cleaning. The IAC can be cleaned. As mentioned above, the TB can be cleaned.
The TB gets gooey cuz the crankcase vent feeds into the intake path in front of the TB.
