Ok, would you consider Home Depot a safe place to bring your wife. What I mean is I do not think of it as a store where she would be interested in shopping and spending money.
Well Chris and I went to Home Depot on Saturday, I need some 2x4s for a project. We left there with the 2x4s a two seater glide chair for the front porch and a in window A/C unit for the garage. We also picked up light bulbs, Duct tape and conectors for the 2x4s. There goes another $300 plus charge on the old Home Depot credit card, the good thing it is interest free and I have up to one year to pay it off. I will say one thing good thing for Chris is that not only was the A/C unit on sale, but there was also an additional 20% off of it and I had a coupon for another 10% off the entire bill.
And just imangine I would have left there with only the 2x4s and conectors that I needed. She also informed me that we need more mulch for the flowers and plants, luckily there was no more room in the Explorer.

It is OK as long as you can steer her clear of the kitchen and bathroom remodeling sections. ;) If she wanders into that area by mistake or on purpose, you will think that $300 is a real bargain.

Come on now, that never happens at Homey D. I don't think I've ever gone in there with a $10.00 parts list and come out with that only!! There's always something else you NEED.:D

Gordon, in Chris's defence, you NEED an A/C unit in that mansion you call a garage. When she was showing me the Firehawk, I about keeled over from the heat and humdidy... :D

Honey, you forgot the ceiling fan for the bedroom. :P
And yes we did save money. The glider was about 50% off too.

Gordy, you know you have only been trying to forget it...and no, if you get a chair and stick your head into the fan it will not end the nightmare. This will continue throught your life. Consider yourself lucky. Chris is in control. She shops with a vigor but wisely, with discounts and coupons. I will send Penny to live with you...she has the vigor in spades...no coupons and what is a discount? :D Dennis
