I will be heading to Woodward Ave. (Detroit, MI)on Friday morning around 10AM? If any one wants to ride/drive along I will be happy to hook up along the way. If you were looking to go but do not want to put the miles on your car no problem, I have room for up to two more:)
I will no doubt leave early Sunday morning:run:

Zack I will respond to you in public. Yes I have not been able to travel due to owning two houses, in January I spent 6 days in the Hospital almost died, went back to work and got re-asigned to other duty's I did not care for, found a new job 60 miles from my house with PFG/AFI, ended my time with Heavenly Fish on very good terms after 2 weeks short of 9 years(just last week!), have worked 4 jobs helping some friends out a tuff bind, got paid, had fun, make more friends, and not I can travel again and you think I am going to Woodward to do damage control? I will have Mke and Dave post over on MCM and you can read about my "bridge repair" effort. I am the one who is laughing now. Stick to fixing cars it is what you do best.

ps: I got a marauder to travel! It is what I do for fun after 20 years and over 2,000,000 miles of driving all over the USA and Canada:)
I still enjoy a nce trip;)

Our family hot rod is leaving Pittsburgh Thursday morning... can't wait to see Woodward!

Exactly. I can't fathom why he whines about getting "kicked out" when he had simply decided not to pay the $45 that everyone else paid to park there. For that piece of real estate on Woodward, on the day of the WDC, that is ridiculously inexpensive.

Those guys (Dave, Mike, et al) are wizards at this sort of thing. I wasn't directly involved, but I think the Trilogy Twin-Screw supercharger raffle was a big contributor to bringing the parking cost down.

You were lucky to even get into the lot at all. In MCM's defense, I was invited to join them on Friday at Dave's invite since the lot was almost empty. On the down side, I didn't get to see more of my friends. Maybe, next year. Nice seeing Paul, Dave, Mike, Darrel, Rich and Mrs Long, Charlie, John, Rick, Dan, BigJohn, Dale and Nellie. Didn't run into anyone at the hotel parking lot on the way home either. Couldn't stay for Saturday.

Hey I'll be back wither Michigan wants me around or not. ;) The Marauder had a very simple problem and that was one hose disconnected. I really dislike having another set of hands on the car other than mine or Zacks. The truck was perfect for the show, the open header small block made a lotta people smile and got some attention from the police. :D
