I emailed one dealer about a black 03, and they responded "Yes the car has been sold, but well let you know if we get another one" Like im sure another will be in tommrow :(

Its still on autotrader AND cars.com, but off the dealer list

So my only option now is the DTR which ive grown to like now

And carfax said it was a leased car, oasis looks clean to.


How do you DTR owners like the DTR? Any regrets?

DTR for the win.

The colour is darker and more purple red then it looks in the pictures.

Similar to the colour of dark raspberries. It keeps it from looking too bright and gives that dark and yet not black mysterious look to it.

Get the DTR you will never regret it.

Blue dime a dozen, black is hard to keep clean, silver - everything is silver, blends right in and nobody notices or cares. Red everyone who knows what a Marauder is will ask when they came out in Red. Real eye turner.

the more i look at it the more i like it.

Im already thinking of mods for it, i really like the chin spoiler that 1stmerc installed, and thats probably what made me realise that DTR's can look as bad *** as any other of the colors, and its the 2nd rarest!

I think either saturday or sunday i will go check this car out, ill take pics!

Yep. I agree, the pictures are really washed out. Even the Charcoal interior looks blond in those photos. DTR is a very nice color, and if you like the deal, and it's a good car, go for it.

DTRs are beautiful, go for it. If funds are limited, your first mod should be the xcal2. (Just my opinion) If you drive with the factory it for a few weeks first, you'll really appreciate the diff the tune makes. If you never do any other mods, the tune makes it much more of a pleasure to drive.

Note:
If you drive it a while with factory tune first, it'll take you a week or so to get used to the way the car behaves with the new tune as far as shifting, etc.

Also...around here, import dealers are often willing to slash prices to the big ugly American cars off of their used car lots. Apparently they don't sell well to persons seeking used Civics. ;) Plus, they could park three used Civics in the space it's taking up. heehee

He was firm at $25k? Ouch. That DTR is an absolute steal then. Which, by the way, i am sure is sold. Hasn't returned any Pm's. I couldnt do it anyhow - so it is a moot point.

The old lady wants me to keep the GM, and when the time is right, i'll buy the MM as a weekend car. Cant afford the 2 payments right this second to keep her happy :(

Yeah? I have never seen a blue or silver Marauder in person. The black and DTR (maroon!) I have seen. Whatever color floats your Marauder-sized boat is the one for you!

I've had my DTR for 1.5 years, very happy. I don't get the "Moses effect" on the highway reported by owners of black MMs.

I disagree, my black MM is spotless through two storms we've just recently had. Like Rich said, forget about modding right now, just get the car first, and go from there. Make it happen, and everything will fall into place.

I sent the dealer an email asking if it was still for sale, it is on the dealer webpage still, and if it was sold that'd be the first place for it to come off.

Im going to try to look at it sunday before they close, its a 50 minute drive, but being its the last good conditioned and affortable marauder in NJ, its worth the drive.

I love my Blue, But Red is definitely a good choice as well...Had a Red vic lx, and loved the color...WHEN I get a second Marauder, I'll be buying a Red for sure. Eventually, I want to have one of each color. ( wishful Thinking )

One other question, this car has a sunroof, how much space does that take up? By that i mean how much does it come down from the roof.

the only paint i get to look at is black, yellow, and black again. Time for a change, red would look good next to a black buggy a yellow and black go kart, and 3 red tractors :lol:

Im still diggin the marauder rims on the blade, i just have to find a custom rim or hubcap shop to do that.
