Those are rear MM tires aren't they?
Ive already sent the guy a message about whether those tires pictured are the actual tires Im going to buy.
Outside of these tires being second hand, I really dont see any catch with this....and I MUST be missing it

could you elaborate on that...because those tires are directional...the tread is wavy on the inside and straight on the outside...is that what you're talking about?

no mention about patches. Probably has them. Patched tires are no longer speed rated. This is only an issue if you drive at high speeds:help:

These are the exact pictures of the tires. We bought these tires from a landlord who was renting to usmc tennants that were deployed to Irac there is nothing wrong with these tires John Chico Tires
...uhhh, probably need to take 1of328's advice and ask for a picture of the writing on the sidewall, what with our sellers inability to read...or just not buy them at all, what do you think?

check his about "ME" page, and his feedback looks good when you read through it. The price is right, and with FREE shipping. If you need them buy them before someone else does.

I have learned on ebay if you want something that has a buy it now, and put it off--someone will hit the button.
Just make sure to read the full auction page, "ME" page if seller has one, and read his feedback don't just glance at it. I check back thru alot of past transactions, especially if the item is not cheap.

You didn't miss anything, they are used tires with some wear on them. New KDWS are around 9 to 9.5 thou, those are 7 thou. Still a lot left on them but not being new devalues a consumable like a tire a lot, resale-wise.

It wasnt really a question that required an answer, more like a nice way of saying that the tires are not a great catch because they are the wrong size. Here, this makes it easier.

No, 245/55/18 is the correct tire size. 255 is not correct and was never used on a Marauder from the factory. He got the right tires. If I had been paying attention on ebay, I would have bought those in a second.
235/45/18 front
245/55/18 rear
How Ford came up with these #s? Who knows. Just makes life difficult.

Actually, the correct measurement for the front is 235/50/18, not 45.

I put this off because I dont think anyone cares anyway BUT...
the tires came in
they have no plugs or patches
Tread matches the photo
Installed fine
Been on the car for a week without exploding
But the final test is in 2 weeks when I autocross on them.
