Aloha Everyone,

I wired my Autometer fuel level gauge ('76 Bronco) backwards...putting the Ignition wire on the ground terminal, and the ground wire on the Ignition terminal...Now the gauge seems to not work...Did I burn something out in the gauge??? Just wanted to ask before I go and buy another one...Thanks

Probaly burned out inside as grounds do not like to see power

That's what I was afraid happened...That's what happens when I rush...Thanks...

Well now I will have Three (3) Autometer gauges flush mounted in my garage wall...Makes for a cool decorative touch in the garage...

Thanks for the suggestion, Brutha... But, I already cut the mounting bolts to fit in the roll cage gauge pod...Mahalo (Thanks)

Besides...The two Autometers (oil and volt off the MM) already in the wall, looked lonely...Three make it look balanced

This is my effort to make lemon aid out of these useless gauges...LOL

reminds me of the first computer I built. The blue smoke pouring from the power supply told me something was wrong, it not working afterwards confirmed it.

You really do learn from your mistakes.

1000 computers later, no more mistakes.
