I looked at all the places listed as well, no luck. A FLM dealer can scan for it.

Look on the hinges in the trunk. It may or may not be there.

Taking the door apart is not a big deal. Take your time. You can do it. Driver's door, on the keyless entry module.

If all else fails. PM me with your email address and I will email you detailed pics on removal of the driver door panel - where the keyless entry and master code are located.

The keypad code for mine were located on the outside of the driver's side trunk hinge and on the "A" pillar below the windshield moulding.

I looked all over when I got my car too, I ended up having to take off the door panel. It only took about 10min to get the panel off see the code and put it back on. :)

In my manual, there was a sticker sheet. There were 4 stickers on it, all with the code. I am assuming thses are the stickers that SHOULD be placed around the car.

You need the master code to add codes.
The owner's manual will tell you how to do that.
That's where mine is located, white sticker with five numbers.

You can put 2 codes into the door besides the origenial code. If you have an onwers manual it will explaine it. If not PM me and I will.

for a cut key from dealer should not be more than $40, and he can progam it himself providing he has two original keys.

When I bought my car, the dealer said they would call the previous owners to find out the code, I'm still wating to hear back from them from a year ago.

Also, when I bought my car (GM dealer) they liked how the car had keyless entry. They said they've never seen them on a GM vehicle, but only on Ford products. Did Ford in fact patent this?

I just asked Zack what the code was. And I had stickers in the owners manual. Look under the door handles. Thats where the stickers should go I believe.

If you don't want to pull the panel to check, then I suggest you make friends with the dealer service dept or with a tech who works for one. They can hook up scan tool and retrieve code.

I'm pretty sure I've seen a keypad on an early 90s nissan maxima once, and looked to be stock. But I guess Ford patented it around that time, good thinking on Ford's part.

Thats what i guess im gonna have to wait for. Dont know when im stopping by but it cant be to to long from now.
Oh well, 1 set of keys, owners card gone, cannot find keypad code so if i lock my keys in the car im absolutely :censor:
But hey, it still sparkles all nice and purdy :D
Heres my next question unrelated to the keypad but still is going through my mind. Will the ford silverstar remote start work with the marauder? My brother has one in his explorer and i really like it, comes with keyfabs and all. Of course ford sent him the wrong box first time  But since it is a factory part i was curious as to if it would fit or not. He says it would but i'd like to ask the marauder owners over the people who drove my car for over an hour.

For now you can have a key cut in a hardware store. It won't start car but it will open door.
Good for those oops lockouts

If his Explorer had factory keyless on door then it should be compatable, if you can find installation instructions for the kit. Lots of wires.

Where is the computer module? My Owners manual says it might have the numbers for my keypad on it. Also said there was a wallet card, which I did not get, or the Dealership would have it. (which luckily is local).
But where is this computer module?
Not in trunk, not in glove box...
how do you differenciate the buttons on the key pad.
How do you press 2 and not 1 etc...?

Diabolical1,
On my '93 Lincoln Town Car the module was behind the glove box. May be the same for the Marauder. The five digit code number will not have two numbers next to each other that are on the same touch pad key. In other words, if you want to push a "1" you push the 1/2 button. I hope this helps. I bought the '93 Towncar from a used car lot and they did not have the code or the key fobs. I bought some key fobs off of e-Bay that came with programming instructions. I had to open the glovebox all the way (past the stops) to get at the module. Good luck. (If all else fails pull the drivers door panel. I wish I had known that little tidbit back when I owned the Lincoln. I had that door panel off numerous times but never knew the code was on the back of the key pad.) My Marauder came with all three keys and one remote. I bought two more remotes so I would have one with each key. (One each for me, my wife and my son.)

No one tell him...:D
Let's see how long it takes him to find.;)
Your first hint:
In a recent thread, someone relocated theirs to make something else fit and commented ford should have done it that way originally.
WHO WAS IT, WHAT DID HE MOVE FOR, AND FROM WHERE DID HE MOVE IT?
Shhhh....
