I was told that the rooms are small, the service is poor, and the odor is toxic.
I would not suggest it for couples.

We'll most likely meet at the junction of the Florida Trnpk and I-75 in Wildwood. Plenty of truck stops there. Plus Zoltan will need a couple of rest stops to stretch out his bad back....

I don't want my car to break 550 Miles from home, and have to get it towed....again. Also...I have only been to the track once with it. I can't bracket, and I know I can't hang in heads up.

Those are my reasons. Anyone who would like to question them, please buy me alcohol :D

I'll be at SSHS7 Friday night for the Mark VIII vs MM shootout and any MM that may want to join the fun. Friday night will be the last racing night of the season and it will usually be cool/cold and there will not be many racers out. It will be a good night for runs with the cool air adding 30+ hp to the SC MMs.

John, you are right. We will have a blast. those Chebbie boys have had 10 more years to work on their rides than we have. They are tough and serious but a great bunch of car nuts, too. You will not believe some of the bling. We have hardly gotten started....yet. There will be a bunch of serious fast moving iron at Commerce. I want to grow up to be Sherman...he ran all day in the middle 11's, kicked ass all day. Loaned his trailer to help out Brian and was fun to be with. Sherman rocks.:2thumbs: Dennis

You, Jerry... who just ran a test and tune(the first for this years Trilogy One at Milan.... they are tuning for the Twin Screw that is in it now) ...ran a first run at 11.1. they added the bottle and grenaded the thranny..going Lentech like yours I believe...and Martyo for sure....no one knows what evil he has going on??? I see new world's record and very possible all three or you plus who knows...John? breaking the old. It is going to be fun. dennis:beer:

We'll see Dennis. I am gunning for the 10's. That is my goal. Jerry and Marty will be the big guns at SSHS7 for sure. If I can make a respectable 3rd against them I'll be honored and proud;). My new super built BC-Automtove tranny is here and will be going in the car in a couple of weeks. Then off for the C-16 race tune with a 100 shot. I cannot wait for November 3rd:banana2:.

My car won't be too impressive. I took the blower off when the last engine problem developed. It's running again but I'm gonna be N/A.

I'll be running the Nitto 305 DR's.

Well, it's not going to happen. I called again today and MT will NOT be coming out with their previously announced 305x45x18 DRs as they stated in January. So NO MT DRs and back to the Nitto DRs this year. I burnt though a set of Nittos DRs in about 10 trips to the drags - yes, 10 trips. Very expensive fun. But, in order to keep up to the high rollers I've got to go with the Nittos again. They are just as good as MTs in the first several outings, but fade after that point.

I agree with Killjoy Glenn. I bought a set of 95 Cobra R 16 X 9 wheels (approx $100.each) and mounted a set of 11.5 X 45 X 16 M/T Street Drag Radials on them. That is what I'll be running at SSHS7. I have to seriously get my 60 foot down. Hopefully these will do the trick. I plan on smoking the ***** out of them to get them hot & sticky:D. My Nitto DR's are Ok for the street, but not so good at the track anymore. Can't seem to get better than a 1.8 with the new power.:burn:
