So you tell me, now before I get bashed, the car has timing only for 91 octane and the AF is rich so hold your drawers. The numbers will go up.

Again I feel confident this car will make 450 and I believe the car will go 11's, my mark 8 made 450 and ran 11.7 at 118 mph, I am going to Fort Lauderdale Friday for a car show and delivering a 02 Blackwood I just did that made 390 RWHP

OMG! Now those are results! Looks like the first place I drive my new MM to will be DR's shop in FL!

Big time congrats, Dennis! Great job. As Keith's engine loosens up a bit more, and you continue to tweak, I think 450 HP and high 11s is a sure thing!

Wow...man, like wow...

Very impressive. Are you still able to offer 2 HP versions? If so how difficult is it to switch from the lower HP to the higher at a latter date?

For a daily driver with 8 annual 1/4 mile runs at the higher HP version are there any additional mods to the dirve train for durability you would reccomend?

At this point I don't have the funds but I am a long range , 12-18 months, planner so I feel more comfortable posting the question here for you to answer at your leisure.

Well I can do what ever you ask I feel the S trim is better than the E Trim, so if you stay witha stock 3.61 you will be at 7/8 PSI this should make 375 or so if you go to a 3.48 then the car will make close to if not more than 450

Dennis:

Are you planning to make a work trip to Atlanta to flash/install chips, etc. I am sure you would have many MM coming to see you. Any thoughts on possibily scheduling a trip? If interested you may want to ask how many people could make it. Put me down for the stat, plugs, and flash clip.

Awesome numbers. Do you think its a little lean for a moment there? Did you ever switch to the Walbro pump?

Dennis Reinhart
07-25-2003, 03:46 PM
This car is a dream if you look at the AF its a bit rich down low that's where I will leave it. I probably could add more timing and the numbers will go up but I feel this where I will stop. I never dreamt this car would make this much power I am doing a flip chip one for 93 octane the other for race gas, and the 93 will have less timing, I will post something this weekend about EIbach springs and lowering the car IMHO it ruins the cars ride, I will go more into this later.

no the car never got above 12.5 and the reason why you see that AF spike its where I let off at the end of the run

Dennis,

Seems as though you have some very unique engineering built into this blower set up.
Your numbers are really superb!!!

Can you share with us some of the points that make it safer and stronger with such a high HP output.

Thanks,

Warren B

Well the innercooler is so efficient the IAT averages just over 10 degrees the OAT this is just awesome, this allows for more boost and keeps the engine safe, also We adjusted the Speedo and for the tire change the car has
Front is 17" rims P245/45ZR1789W
Rear is 17" rims P315/35R17102V Nitto and the Speedo is dead on and the shift points are right at 6000 RPM. But again its all in tuning and we have the best plain and simple.

OK here are the numbers from Gainesville Saturday afternoon. On Wednesday the car ran 12.7 I had no MPH since the time board had been struck by lighting, I went back tonight waited 2 Hours before making a single run since it was dialing for dollars, I put down 12.6 seconds I ran a funny car I lost because I broke out Keith's car ran 12.39 at 114 MPH and the transmission shift points are still off LOL, now I will tell you right now Keith's car will run 11, s so you can buy who's ever kit your heart desires, no one, right now makes the power or times as mine, now I am not saying I am better that's your choice and decision, I feel the car is safe, I need to adjust the shift points I will go back Wednesday, and then I am pretty much done with this car. I took my stage 1 car it ran 14.5 and I was not driving I had my friend Dave Edward's race me in Keith's car. LOL yes he lost.

Awesome. Tell us something; aside from the final tuning adjustments, If one of us were to call and order the complete kit to be shipped to our door, do you have all of the parts ready to go? What would be the amount of time between ordering and UPS dropping it off at our doorstep? I must say, your accomplishment with this car is by far superior!!

Dennis Reinhart
07-26-2003, 09:40 PM
Well the kit takes about two weeks you wont have nearly as many issues as Kieth, the problem with his car is adjusting shift schedule do to 17" wheels, I can do this no problem I do not plan on leaving these wheels on there. I will re'install the OEM 18 " and the readjust the shift points. As far as the kit goes Its dialed in, call me with any questions. I will be in Bradenton next weekend.

Just getting ready to turn in from my day at the track with Dennis...and boy is that car something...I will get more pictures posted for Dennis probably by Monday....but the Supercharged MM was a hit at the track....

On the last run I was in the stands with the camera and people were all "oohing and aahing" about the look of car......then it was dead silent while the car ran in the 12's then there were a lot of "Holy S**t" and "Are you kidding me" and "No Way" going on.....Some guy said..."yeah he has a supercharger on that thing"..."Dude that ride is sweet!"

Again...cannot say enough about Dennis's work of art....just great stuff......looks great and run's great.....the thing I love the most is once he puts the stock tires on....the car looks just like a normal MM.....then the next thing you know you are eating smoke.....

Oh and for those of you who have had the pleasure of meeting Dennis Face to Face...know about that Moustache of his.....well after the 12's.....you could see his smile even under that bushy old thing!!!! :D

Heck of Job Dennis!!!!!
