Well guys, I hope that you all can help me out.

I took my laptop and XCAL2 out to my car to see about doing some datalogging. When I opened Live Link3, the program wasn't finding my tuner. No big deal. When I went to looking through the tuner, unplugged from the comp but plugged into the car, it showed that there were no tunes loaded on it. Hmmmm. So I load the factory settings from the tuner to see if maybe it was blocking me from seeing it with the car being loaded with the DR tune. To my dismay, the tuner is showing that there are NO tunes at all on the tuner and I'm stuck with the factory settings!

Can someone point me in the right direction? I'm not having any luck with this problem at all! I'm also starting to get :mad2:

When you called Dennis, what did he say? ;)

I messaged him and he says that he was going to look into it. Since My work schedule is so screwy, I've not actually been able to call. Uncle Sam has a tight grasp on our necks...

Is it possible you somehow transfered the tunes from the XCal2 to your lap top?

That's what I thought, but I didn't find anything with the same properties as what the program was looking for.

When I go to Program vehicle, it gives me the option to install tune or return to stock. After selecting install tune, it says, "Error: No index file. Press SEL"

Any idea how the files managed to be erased so it can be prevented from happening again?

In all honesty, I haven't got a clue what happened and Mr. Reinhart sure as hell didn't seem to a couple of minutes to answer a few questions as to what I might have done wrong. I was mid sentence and after he sent the file, he said, "Thanks. Bye." Hell, I've spent more time on the phone with Ms. Jackie than I have him.

I understand that he's an extremely busy person, but if I drop over $400 into his lap for his products, does that not buy me 5 minutes of his time and possibly a timely response? If not, I'm in the wrong line of work! Someone that is in the very same line of work as Mr. Reinhart spoke to me on the phone for 15 minutes yesterday and never once cut me off all the while giving solid advice about my plans for my car. That, ladies and gentlemen, is how a customer is supposed to be treated and then won over. I've said it once and I'll say it again, if I get treated good by a vendor, any vendor from hot dogs to houses, I'll be loyal to them to the end. I mean it and I preach it to my Airmen everyday in the form of teaching them how to treat people professionally and politely regardless of your emotion at the time!

By no means am I dogging Mr. Reinhart as he is a very knowledgeable and proven with vehicle performance, but I think that this posting might just open his eyes as to why for every 1 good thing I've heard about him that I've heard 2 things bad.

I have no idea what you did, it was loaded when you got it, you confirmed that, and yes I spend a lot of time on the phone and I had three on hold in front of you, plus I had to place you on hold to boot up my computer, then I immediately sent you a file and I did not mean to cut you off, instead of posting this in the first place it would have been much better to just call because I may not see this right away, yes some days I am over run with phone calls and this was one of those days, but I try to spend as much time as I can take with you my customer, if this does not fix your problem I will send another Xcall out at free shipping, so why not call in the morning before I get on the dyno and will go over any questions you may have, and accept my apology for being rushed it was not my intention.
