I was filling my windshield washer solvent reservoir last night and I noticed there is quite a bit of sand in there. I'm not sure if this is normal or not, but I was wondering if anyone had a tip as to how I go about removing the sand without taking the reservoir off. And also, how to prevent this from happening again (Yes, my reservoir cap is on securely) That sand can't be good for the lines, hopefully it's not clogging anything up. Any help would be great!! Thanks
Ryan

EDIT: I guess it's not really sand, but it's dirt of some type that is settled at the bottom

Remove the reservoir and wash it out. Take the hoses off the nozzles and off the pump and back flush the lines. If it takes you more than 30 minutes, you're slow.

Next time, don't put 'Fast Orange' hand soap in the WW tank!!!

Shop-vac w/ crevice tool, duct tape, drinking straw.

Just a crackpot idea. Ignore me. It's Friday. I get a little wierd on fridays.
