Island Dragway tonight, anyone? (7/18 Friday)

Just lost my job! Need to get my mind off of things and we finished the new transmission install this morning at 2 so I'm just dying to check how the car does at the track....


I'm thinking Island Dragway... some stanger's are going from StangNet so I'd love to some rauderer's to join me as well... in some head to head competition watching my new tranny blow (or worse)

thanks to Constable and The Fat Bastid for coming, I had a lot more fun at Sizzler afterwards than at the track, but hopefully it won't rain out next time... lol

I wish I knew what I was doing at the track... heh

Exactly... I feel like a tool after posting a wicked 1.600 R/T !!!! What a DOPE! Thats horrible! I'm sure the car's running perfect and I REALLY need practice on the tree. All in all, I had a good time for my first showing on a dragstrip.

so how did i do you ask?

well...after being yelled at by at least 3 different people, driving in the wrong lane, and other such shenanigans, i get ready to pre-stage for my first drag ever....and it gets called on account for lighting and rain. BAH!!!

so then we all went to sizzler. the end.

acutally it was a pretty good day i guess...
now i know why in 'white men cant jump' they make a big deal of going to sizzler.
