Went for me tires, front end alignment, 30K service today, ALL day. Dropped MM off at 7:30 a.m., as this was a scheduled deal. Man told me he'd call when they were done. First call, about 10:30, says you know your rear tires are a little worn, want me to order them too? I say okay, will do it next week. He calls back and says, we can't do the alignment since you're changing the rears so let's wait on that. I say no prob, just do the other service. Me and the wife go to lunch, and touring New London CT. Did see a 300A with real cool flame job at dockside diner and turned them onto this site. Flames were gray and hollow, looked real good, but the artist won't do any more. Oh well. At around 3:00 we returned to the dealer, car was sitting outside. Didn't look quite right, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Wifey and I chatted with salesman re.: new Town Car or Aviator for her. She deserves it, she puts up with me. Also talked to couple who just purchased 300B that was on lot, told them this car is great, and turned them onto this site. Male half seems intent on Mods, told him here is good advice. Service-guy says he's done except for air filter, didn't have MM on site, waiting for delivery. Talked about Mods with him, he says he can work warrantee around most Mods. Should have gotten that in writting. Finally at 4:45 he calls, we were still in lot outside his door, and says the car is ready, but he has to talk to me about a slight problem. Problem turns out to be, " [I]We ordered back tires by mistake, but since you wanted them anyway, we put them on the front." Wife went ballistic, this was a specific job set up a week in advance. Parts were not present at the start, wrong parts were ordered, and wrong parts were installed. Plus I figure I was lied to about the whole alignment vs. rear tire story. The real reason the alignment wasn't performed was the correct tires were not present. I didn't make a big deal of it yet as they must finish the job next week, but after that, ....
