Just typing out loud here...
Ive yet to hear of anyone changing the blower oil in the Trilogy Blower.
Ford recommends it be done every 50k on Cobra's.
Im sure most have yet to break that mileage, but Id hate to see anyone near or over that overlook this needed maintenance.

Thoughts?

Zack;
If I recall the service interval on the stock Trilogy kit is 100,000 miles. The oil is a 10w hydraulic oil.

I had to check after a KB Mustang guy asked me and I did not have a clue.

Hmm, I'm sure my car is very close to the 50k mark. I think BillyG put it on around 20k miles. I'm closing in on 70K. Any idea how this is done?

I know there is a plug and a window on the SVT snout, but I don't recall seeing a window on the Trilogy snout.

Please enlighten me. I thought blowers used oil from the engine as a lube source -or- is that only certain manufacturers? :confused:

Vortech is the only MM "kit" blower that is cooled via the engine's oil.
