I was curious if anybody has had problems with their BF Goodrich tires. While driving to work, yesterday, the tire on the right front side of my car separated. At this point I am not sure if it is the tire or something that I hit on the road. I attend to have the tire examined by my mechanic. There also appears to be no damage to the rim

No problem here other than early replacement due to lack of tread

first I heard, could it have been low on air, any sign of a slow leak?
I check ours weekly, usu Sat morn and I have had a lot of slow leakers.

Me too, first I have heard about this. Under inflated?

No under or over inflation. But, I did check BF Goodrich's web-site. They do have recalls for tire separation just not the same size.

Although the BFG's suck and blow, they have held up well against that type of failure, from what I've seen and heard, on these cars. Then again that's probably because they never get run more than 25k miles without being replaced!
