Need help finding a quirk with my MM.

Anyone care to help me find out this annoying noise on the suspension or whatever , wherever its coming from so i can fix it. in the rear bangs over bumps an i changed the shocks already cause i had a leaky shock an was told it could be it an it wasnt . Also its not the spare tire so..... if anyone can help or point me in the right direction thatll be cool an i already started a thread but it didnt solve the issue.

I would go with spare tire or jack. I have had a few bangs in the rear as well because of a combination of the two.

I had the drivers side tailpipe hitting the rear axle when I first bought my Marauder. Took me a while to find it. Look for a shiney spot on the tailpipe. I replaced two of the rubber exhaust hangers and solved the problem. Just my .02

My bigger swaybar and tail pipe bump each other occationally.
There is a small groove in the sway bar where it happens.

Only thing i can think of making the noise is when i kick th edrivers side tail pipe an it bangs on something but the noise while driving sounds as if its both sides !:confused: Ima put some junk in the trunk if this persists.

SS exhaust systems "grow" when HOT!!!:cool: Mine will extend as much as 3/4 inch and initially I had the right tail pipe hitting the fuel tank but only after a WOT romp!!??:argue:

Shortened it about 3/8 inch and banging gone!!:beer:

Hey check your sub/amp cause mine came loose and would annoy me over slightest bumps and what not. The even more annoying thing is you have to get into the top of the rear deck by removing back seat...etc..to screw that down again.

EDIT: Ah, just seen the thread you created to try to resolve this before this one..along with the sub& amp comments.
