Has any one replaced the plastic lens over the gauge cluster? How difficult a job is it? Can the lens be replaced with out removing the gauge cluster? I found the lens cover can be ordered new from Ford for $28.00. This is the only real flaw with my interior. The cover is really scratched and looks cloudly. Any help would be appreciated.

i replaced it when i bought mine..took maybe 30 min...remove screws that hold dash trim panel and pry back trim..remove 4 screws to instrument cluster and remove the whole gauge assy from the car..then you will see the screws holding the cover in place..very simple

Is there a parts # that goes with that?

Ok, I have been known to break things. I assume I can carefully pry-pull the bezel cover (after removing the 2 bolts) off without breaking the tabs that hold it in place ?

The part # I got was F2AZ-10887-A . I am not sure that this is the correct part#, as I have not ordered it yet. You know how that goes untill you actually see it. The Ford parts guy thought it was the correct # though.

I need to do mine as well. It has had a nasty scratch since day one, and one added by the folks that did my NOS install.
Please take pics and jot notes.
This would be an excellent addition to our resourse room.

I went ahead and ordered the lens. I will post again when it comes in to make sure it is the right one. The parts guy was very sure it was.

It really isn't hard to do, just take your time with all plastic panels and they can break or get scratched up.First file is to remove cluster, second shows cluster lens.
If you need more help, just ask.

I finished replacing the gauge cluster lens. Very easy job. Nothing broke which is always good. 1 (put the column down.) 2.( Pull the lower trim off where the T/C and pedal adj switch are and let hang) 3. ( Pull the lower trim off pass side, starting from passenger side door.) 4 . ( Remove the 8 bolts holding the gauge cluster trim.) 5. (Carefully pull the trim starting at the light switch and the hood of the trim down and out. ) 6. (Use a torx screwdriver to remove the screws 6 of them, to remove the lens.) (Craftsman Torx T15 part#41474 k WF) 7. (Practice a few times pulling the old lens out and putting it in so as not to sratch the new one) 8. (Install new Lens.) You do not need to remove the cluster itself , disconnect any of the wiring or remove the radio. Lens part # F2AZ-10887-A. Thanks to everyone who gave info.

Thanks for listing the part number, I'm going to have to go pick one up since mine was scratched up when I bought the car.

Mine was heavily scratched over the entire left side. I just popped it out, put some Flitz on a Cotton Rag, and went to work.
Took about 10 minutes, and looks good as new.
None of the scratches on mine were deep, just a lot of little ones.
