Recently while out with my Crown Vic Sport, I've had people ask me if it was a Marauder. I explained to them that it is not a MM, and tell them it is a Crown Victoria Sport. They have never heard of a CV Sport. I was stopped at a light the other day, and a man in 300-C was comming in the opposite direction. He actually slowed down, almost to a stop. I could see he was checking out the car. First he had a suprised look on his face, a little puzzled, then he smiled a nodded approvingly. I got the feeling he could tell it was a factory car, and not just some rims on a Crown Vic. I'm guessing he'd never seen a CV Sport either.
I've also had several Police Officers, in full dress cruisers, check out my car, and either nod with approval or have a smile on their face. Each time, I had been waiting at a light or Stop sign. I guess the LEOs like these cars too. Just as the LEOs on this board do.
That, to me, says a lot about the car. The fact that these guys spend so many hours in these cars at work. Then want to get into another one to drive home, or on their day off. I've know many people who drive a certain vehicle all day at work, and the last thing they want, is to get in another one on their way home.

My work CVPI is the best cruiser I have driven in 27 years on the job and I have driven a bit of everything. Is it the fastest, no, but it is the most comfortable and best all around one I have had the pleasure to drive.
I went out and bought a retired CVPI for our primary family vehicle because of this. With all the accidents I have seen CVPIs in and the amount of damage but the officer coming out with minimal injuries, what other car would I want my wife to be driving.

+1!!!!!!!!!!
I nearly bought a 2003 Crown Victoria LX Sport. Black. Very nice. He was asking $11,000 (which was book), but I talked him down to $8000. It was a really nice car, at a good price.
But... It just kept BUGGING me that it was a DOWNGRADE from the P-71 (mechanically) that I had been driving before. It did not have all the same heavy duty parts. Let's face it, a CV Sport is an LX, with nice wheels, and black out job. It's mechanically NOT a P-71, and this just DROVE ME CRAZY.
So... Then, I thought, gee, a Marauder looks even better, and mechanically is SUPERIOR to my P-71. Now THAT is the car for me. I decided I could find one for $10,000 (which I did) and now I AM IN FULL SIZE FORD HEAVEN!!!!!!!!
No disrespect. It's a pretty car, but trade up, dude!

Creative report writing wins again. I said "she didn't let me down"....actually, she did squall the tires and the chirp at second was a bonus !! Stock....except for those 4:10's and a little flashy with the computer ala Zack . :D

Ahhh, damn that creative report writing...;)
I def need a tune and 410s! You have the stock BFGs right? Do you hear the chirp loudly and a bit long? Cause When I chirp my tires off the line, they spin and only squeak for about half as long as the spin, theyre pretty quiet soft tires...And Mike, has non-stock tires on his blue, and heard a pretty badass chirp into second when I saw him take off, a while back.

I think the chirp is because the trans shifts so damn hard it's about to drop. Short chirp into 2nd. Eitherway, my sloooooooooow BLUE is still faster than Motorhead's blown black. :D
