Pics needed for class.

As some of you may know, I'm going through the instructor portion of my firearms class and now I have to create a lesson plan and a Power Point presentation. Looking at this site and thread, you might be able to guess what I am doing my presentation on. That's right! I'm doing a presentation to my class on the uniqueness of our vehicles.

I guess my search-fu is kind of weak today as I've been all over Google, this site, and another Marauder site looking for certain pics. I need to get some pics of the engine and the picture of the cars at the assembly plant. I think I should be able to get a picture of the front seat with the embossed logo as well as one that has the floor mats, floor shifter, and gauges in there.

If anyone is willing to look over the PPT, let me know and I'll email it to you to look over.

its prolly going to be Very hard for you to get any pictures from the plant, cuz pretty much the only pictures floating around out there are the ones that we have posted

I would, however, this is going to be presented at 0800hrs on Monday. I've got the information I need, but I can't seem to find the 1 picture I really wanted.

The tight time constraints and not knowing the name of the pic are holding me back from getting the pics that I want.

I have the picture at home, I cant seem to post pics while Im at work so I shall post it later. I also have numerous pics of my car that Ill be happy to give you for your project.

I just wanted to let you all in on my instructor's critique of my 10 minute lecture on "Why the 2003 Mercury Marauder is unique."

According to the instructor, I speak too fast. As a dispatcher, I know that I do and attempt to slow it down. Evidentaly, not enough.

I needed to switch a couple things around in the presentation.

More eye contact with the audience.

Ask some questions.


He did, however, say that the presentation was spot on with the fine line between detail/pics/knowledge and too much information. He also mentioned that the Powerpoint and presentation were the best that he had the benefit of hearing/seeing today.


Overall, a damn good showing with a few small knocks. No big deal, but a big thanks goes out to Sid210SA, Offroadkarter, ludwigvan968, Ckadiddle and a certain unnamed friend of Sid210SA.

FYI i had to take a presenting class, and my teacher told me to always use the presenters stance to avoid fumbling with objects or clothing or anything, and for eye contact, if you dont want to look at a persons eyes look at there foreheads and it gives that illusioooon.

Well thats what i learned anyways.

I don't have a problem making eye contact, but there was a fine line that he obviously wanted me to walk. I was making eye contact with quite a few people, but he also realized that for my presentation, I had to look at the screen. I didn't get dinged on it, but he did mention it.

Once again, I do appreciate the pic of your engine. I used your last picture provided to me as the drivetrain opening. It was hot. ;-)
