I'm looking for a vendor who sells already widened MM wheels without me exchanging mine or sending them in for the process. I found one once for around $1200-$1300 but have been unable to find them since. Should have bookmarked it....
I want to take my stock rear wheels and keep them as spares for the front, since I just recently had to have one straightened.:shake: Thank you Tampa Bay area road construction.

LOL yes they did that to protect the rim when they were widened

I recall some discussion a while back that the new version of these wheels doesn't fit the godhead
center cap properly- Was this found to be incorrect? Or have these wheels been 'fixed'?

I would also like to know the price on these. PM if you don't want to post here. Mine needs rear
tires real soon...

Hi Dennis

Just a note to save alot of grief. I had my wheels widened and they used duct tape just as in your pictures... and I put more scratches in the wheels just trying to get the adhesive left from the tape off the wheels. Lots of alcohol and careful rubbing and several hours later(read bummed). (I'm guessing the boxes they were shipped in sat in the sun and the adhesive from the duct tape stuck to the wheels vigorously) I suggest the wheel shop try putting the 3M blue tape on first and then go over it with the duct tape. Best of both worlds, protection from handling and ease of tape removeal.
Hope this saves somebody some time and frustration. (mine were done through AA) so I'm not pointing fingers I'm just trying to help on the customer satisfaction side...

Best Regards

Jon aka 69mach1 :burnout:

Ps. They do look b!tchen on the car!

The wheels will be brand new for 250.00 EA with out center cap 450.00 to widen both wheels plus shipping, what I would do is order the wheels have them dropped shipped to Weldcrafit and have them shipped directly back to you,

Thanks for the info and pics Dennis. I will be contacting you in a few months for a set of these. I do have a couple more questions though, how much extra would it be to have the weld beads smoothed out and the inside surface polished to the same finish as the face for that show quality look? Also will there be a spacer required? If so is it available & how much for a set?
Thanks for your time.

I will post a caveat to using this company, but that is all I will discuss on boards.

I know it's a bit after the fact...but if you ever have that issue again, Kerosene works well removing the 'sticky' and won't harm the finish.
Hours? Oh my.

....is have them dropped shipped to Weldcrafit and have them shipped directly back to you,

What say...someone doesn't have the finances to just buy two more wheels, but would like to ship two of our own? Will you arrange our drop shipping our wheels to them on your behalf?

I want to do a set of my powdercoated spares over the winter months here. I realize I will need to re-powdercoat the insides again. I figured I might even just rattle-can the welds temporarily.

This is my experience... all good

I won a raffle for widening of 2 MM wheels (I supply the wheels). It took me over a year to get the wheels. I called James at Weldcraft, explained that I had a certificate. James accepted the certificate even though it was over a year old. Had my wheels back in less than 2 weeks. Brought them to my tire guy and he was blown away by the quality and workmanship. He put them on his macine and they were perfectly balanced and ran true.

Are these rim widen to 9 1/2 or 10's. What size tires should be used on these rims without any rubbing issues. Again very interested in a set. What's the shipping to Hawaii? $950.00 + shipping=??????

Accomodates a Nitto 555 in 295-45-18 or similar.

I thought people were running the 305 nitto dr's on their widened wheels?? Hmm. They are pretty pricey in itself. So for two wheels + widened+ shipping+tires= Around $1500.00 I dunno about you guys but thats alot of mula for two wheels and tires. Would love to have em but cant spend that much. Would rather spend it on the kids. Unlike my father, he would have said Hook-it-up! LOL.
